Summary
Dr. Lokare earned a M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University in Utah, USA and a B.E. from Pune University, Pune in India. His Master's and Doctoral research focused on ash deposition and corrosion behavior of several biomass and coal fuels. His work included development of a deposition model with mechanistic details for inertial impaction and condensation. Since joining REI in June 2008, Dr. Lokare has worked on CFD simulation applications for performance study of coal-fired boilers.
