Senior Engineer,earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 1998, a M.S. in Organic Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry in 1992, and a B.S. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1989. His doctoral research focused on the development of a deposition model for industrial CFD simulations. Since joining REI in 1998, Dr. Wang has worked extensively on industrial projects including modeling of coal, gas, and oil-fired furnaces. Dr. Wang has been heavily involving in developing and applying CFD modeling methods of NOx reduction technologies, such as Low-NOx burner, staging/overfire air, Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR), Fuel Lean Gas Reburning (FLGR) etc. in utility boilers.
