Summary
Prof. Eddings' research interests focus on studies of the formation, control and fate of a variety of air pollutants for a range of industries, including the electric utility, cement, metallurgical, and the pulp and paper industries. He has been involved in both experimental and computational analyses of these processes. These studies have been carried out with a wide variety of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, and encompass fundamental lab-scale research through pilot-scale verification. Prof. Eddings is Director of the Combustion Research Group at the University of Utah, with responsibility over two laboratory sites including the Industrial Combustion and Gasification Research Facility.
